The Truth About Protection Training

Montreal Family Dog Protection Training (K9)

Not all dogs are created equal. Ignoring this and attempting to train dogs that do not qualify for defense training may result in submissiveness or fear biting. It may also result in unwanted lawsuits caused by your dogs uncontrolled behaviour.

To find out if your dog has the required abilities for defense training we administer a complex set of tests. We do not train dogs to be vicious. We work with the dog's natural instincts enhancing its natural abilities.

Protection A: General Intimidation:

We bring out the dogs natural instincts to be alert and vocal, plus on command show aggression. We also teach the dog the command FRIEND where all aggression seizes.

Protection B: General Family Protection:

We bring out the dogs natural instincts to be alert and vocal, plus on command show aggression. We teach the dog to be protective of the owners, plus be protective of the premises including vehicle(s).

Protection C: Tailored Protection:
Tailored Protection classes are created from scratch. Every owners lifestyle is unique and in turn their protection needs. A consultation with the owners establishes the final curriculum.
